After her excellent comeback run when third in a very hot Sandown Listed race won by stable-companion Theyskens’ Theory last month, Brevity travels over to Longchamp on Friday for another Listed event over a mile for three-year-old fillies.
The race, third on the Longchamp card, is timed for 1.50 p.m. (BST) and Martin Dwyer goes over to ride. Twice a winner last year from three starts, Brevity had a setback in the spring which prevented her planned run in the 1,000 Guineas, but she showed at Sandown that she retains all her ability.
The fact that she has not won this year entitles her to receive 2 kilos (4.4lb) from the three principal French contenders in this race which carries 55,000 Euro in total prize money. This looks the perfect launch-pad for an autumn campaign.
