From the East
Leave the M4 at junction 14 signed to Hungerford Proceed down the steep hill for approx 2 miles signposted Hungerford At the bottom, turn right at the mini-roundabout (Bathroom Business is in front of you). Take the first exit at the next roundabout, go across the next mini roundabout signposted Marlborough A4 (leaving The Bear Hotel on the left) Continue for approximately 8 miles until you reach Marlborough From the West and North Leave the M4 at junction 15 and take the third exit at the roundabout signed A345 to Marlborough Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach Marlborough |

Once at Marlborough, turn up the hill at the roundabout (by Carphone Warehouse) and go into town – through the main High Street to Marlborough College at the end
Go right at the roundabout signposted A4 Calne/A361 Devizes and follow the road around the left-hand bend under Marlborough College bridge Go through 2 sets of traffic lights – at the second set, after 400 metres, turn right across the A4 at the sign to “Manton House and Hollow” into Downs Lane Follow the narrow uphill lane for approx 1½ miles (ignore entrance to Fyfield and Barton Yards halfway up on the right). Eventually you will come to a ramp, then the Estate entrance, gates with mounted black horses heads on top Go past the white house on the left and over another two more ramps Shortly after a right hand turning saying “No admittance” you will go over another ramp then come to the Estate offices – a red brick building on your right, cars parked on the left. |
